Example:

Topic statement

The traffic problem is growing in most big cities

Thesis statement

There are many overcrowded streets and freeways because there are too many cars and other vehicle; also, there are not enough parking facilities in the busy down town areas.

Main idea in the last sentence of introduction

The heavy traffic problem can, however, be solved in three ways.

Body (supporting sentence)

Building more rapid transit system between cities and suburb.

-          Get to destination quickly and safely

-          More commuters cars at home

-          Reduce the number of car at the street

-          No traffic jams

Prefer getting on excellent public transport rather than driving cars.

-          For example: excellent rail way line in japan

-          Dependable subway system connecting Tokyo and Osaka

Concluding paragraph

Concluding sentence = the three ways of solving traffic problem

Final thought = the government rules to solve traffic problem build and maintain excellent infrastructure on transportation.
